Follow this step-by-step guide to install and use the Chrome Extension on your Squarespace website.

Note: To ensure you extract the correct JSON-LD from the site, always use JSONify on a site connected to the actual domain - not a trial site.

Download the Chrome Extension

If you haven’t yet, download the JSONify Chrome Extension from the Chrome web store

When prompted to activate the extension, follow the instructions to visit the store and log in with the email address and password used when purchasing the extension. If you bought the lifetime version, you will need to create an account here. Please ensure the email address matches the one you used during purchase.

Once you have logged in successfully, you can begin using the exception.

Inject Script

When you see this pop-up after clicking on the extension, you’ve just overcome the biggest hurdle!

Next, click on Inject Script.

This will insert a temporary script into your site and activate the “Generate JSON-LD” button.

Next, visit the page you want to inject the JSON-LD code into.

When you visit the page from which you want to extract the JSON-LD and click on the “Generate JSON-LD” button, a pop-up will appear displaying all the JSON-LD for that page. The complete code will be copied when you click on Copy to Clipboard.

1: Click on the little cog wheel next to the Navigation title

2: Click on Advanced in the pop-up that appears

3: Paste the JSON-LD code here and click on Save to exit the pop-up. That’s it!

1: Open the blog page where you want to inject the JSON-LD code

2: Scroll all the way down on that page and inject a Code Block at the very end.

3: Remove the: <p>Hello, World!</p> and paste in the JSON-LD code

4: Save the page and you are done!
